Cosmetic dentistry would be fixing the way your teeth look, the way that you look when you smile, it would fix how crooked your teeth are, whereas restorative dentistry is we are restoring something that broke.

It really depends on what you need, that's usually a group discussion, you discuss it with your dentist, what you'd want to fix, what you don't like, and then your dentist will be able to give you options of the best way they think that you can be able to satisfy what you don't like and be able to leave feeling better and happier about your smile.

Typically not because we are able to use anesthesia and block out, you know, any of the nerve endings that would give rise to pain.
How long will it take for me to recover from a cosmetic procedure?
It really depends on what we're doing for the cosmetics. So, if we are, say, adjusting the gums because you feel you have a gummy smile, that can take a few weeks depending on what we had to do to attain that look, but for, say, veneers, you know, where we are changing the color, the crookedness of the teeth without braces, there really isn't much downtime to that.
Is cosmetic dentistry covered by insurance?
It varies per plan, but because it's an elective treatment, sometimes not.
